What does it cost?

The MCP server is free to connect. Generations spend your regular Glif credits — the same balance you use on the website, no separate billing.

Can I choose which agent runs my project?

`compose_project` accepts an `intelligence` tier: `lite`, `smart`, or `genius`. That picks the agent; Glif picks the media models. Without a tier, new projects use your preferred model and existing ones keep theirs.

Can I see my MCP projects on glif.app?

Accepted Answer

Yes — everything you make through the MCP shows up in your Glif account as regular chats, synced both ways. Start a project from Claude Code, pick it up on [glif.app](/), or vice versa.

How do Glif skills work vs Claude skills?

Accepted Answer

Glif skills are saved instructions that live in your Glif account, so they travel with you: any connected agent can list and use them through the `list_user_skills` and `get_user_skill` tools. Claude skills configure Claude itself and stay in Claude — the two don't conflict, and you can use both at once.

It didn't connect — now what?

Double-check the server URL — it must be the exact https address shown above. On claude.ai, custom connectors need a paid Claude plan. If sign-in loops or stalls, remove the connector and add it again to restart the sign-in.

How do I fix 'host_not_allowed' or a failed file upload?

This can be caused by your app's security settings blocking the domains your agent can access by default. To fix this, add the domain Glif uses for file uploads: `api.cloudinary.com`.

In Claude, navigate to your **Settings**, find **Capabilities** in the sidebar, find **Domain Allowlist**, and add it there.

How do I revoke access?

Connected clients are listed as connected apps in [Settings → API Tokens](/settings/api-tokens) — disconnect one there and its access is revoked immediately.
